I have been 'trapped' in many ways over the years, (failed marriages, wrong careers, bad situations) and then something happened to make me realise that I was not trapped at all, and could find my own way out . It is, as you point out, a fallacy. I feel trapped all the time, and my husband tells me that I need to change my perspective. That no one is trapped, only standing still. I love this insightful post, Emily and I'm so glad you linked up with us! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. xoMia @ The Chronicles of Chaoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08982605259699460062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1743107537369347700.post-2142928822351029302015-10-09T09:40:25.686-05:002015-10-09T09:40:25.686-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16747525527342302173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1743107537369347700.post-59312833908085242992015-10-09T08:23:45.543-05:002015-10-09T08:23:45.543-05:00P.S. Crashing, crashing, crashing over and over again. I've had to tell myself to stop fighting it, to ride the waves until the waters calm. Sometimes, I believe, that is the only solution at that moment.

This was one of my favorite parts:
"Sometimes it’s vital to have patience and wait for the storm to clear before you act."

That's exactly what I did, and before I knew it, things started looking up :)

Thank you for sharing and joining us for #WODW!

Shellyhttp://www.shellyscabaret.comnoreply@blogger.com
